Mauricio Cervilla Fischer is a director and producer from Barcelona. In his films, he focuses primarily on human beings and the subtle dynamics of their coexistence in everyday life. His films are characterised by precise observation, narrative clarity and a strong visual signature. In addition to studying cinematography and film production with a minor in dramaturgy at the Bavarian Academy for Television and Digital Media in Munich, he founded the production company Atem Film together with Tim Jenni.
Since 2012, Mauricio has written and directed several short films, feature films and documentaries, which have been screened and awarded at renowned international festivals, including the International Hofer Filmtage, the Blaue Blume Award and the Festival de Cannes, where his short film Reflex premiered in the Court Métrage category in 2017.
As an commercial director, he has produced several commercials and music videos. He has worked for clients such as Siemens, Porsche, Salomon, Clueso and Max Herre. Since 2024, Mauricio Cervilla Fischer is a member of ‘PROG Producers of Germany’, the leading association of independent cinema, streaming and television producers in Germany. Mauricio Cervilla Fischer lives in Munich and works internationally on commissioned and personal films.
