Lukas Hauptmeier is a director of photography and photographer from Augsburg. His natural visual language aims for a focused, but in no way limited representation of reality. During his studies of cinematography at the University of Television and Film in Munich, he realised several short films and documentaries before becoming a permanent part of Atem Film as director of photography. Since 2017, he has directed the camera on numerous productions. Among others, he worked for clients such as Piëch Automotive, Rhode & Brown and Munich Cowboys. Lukas lives in Munich and works internationally as a freelance director of photography and photographer on commissioned and personal projects.
